1985, Richard Robb, the founder of Herkules Equipment, patented
the first automatic Paint Gun Washer for the auto body repair

GUN WASHERS
Automatic
paint gun washers quickly became the standard in the industry
because they offered increased efficiency and a more environmentally-friendly
way to clean painting equipment. Gun washers saved money by
reducing both the amount of solvent used and the amount of labor
time consumed in hand washing of spray guns.

VEHICLE
LIFTS
The use of hydraulic lifts in auto body repair shops can lead to
possible paint contamination from hydraulic fluid vapors and spills.
Herkules found that auto lifts powered by air provided a solution
that improved both ergonomic working conditions and paint job quality.
Founder, Richard
Robb, cross-licensed Herkules' paint gun cleaning technology with
pneumatic air bag technology from Germany to offer complete low-maintenance
solutions to the auto body repair industry. Herkules has since adapted
its pneumatic lifts for use in quick oil change shops so that they
can benefit from its low-maintenance advantages. |
